Perimenopause
Symptoms
Test
Identifying your unique symptoms is the first step to thrive through this uncertain period surrounding menopause.
Below is a symptom checklist that can determine if you are perimenopausal. It is important to know that this is not a diagnostic tool, and you should discuss with your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms that are negatively affecting your quality of life.
Mark with an " X" or from 0-3 under each of the columns.
The Total will be displayed at the end.
* Most of the symptoms listed are adapted from the Greene Climacteric Scale (GCS). There are other symptoms associated with perimenopause that are not listed here.
RESULTS: Studies have shown that women who score over 12 on the GCS are likely to be perimenopausal, but lower values can also be an indication of being in perimenopause, depending on the symptoms.
Always consult with your doctor about any symptoms affecting your health.
